Secretary’s Minutes – October 2025

COMMITTEES:

 

Campground – Lion J. McKensie/Lion K. Mutzabaugh

Backhoe has been delivered. DLC charged $450 for delivery.

DLC has purchased a battery tender.

 

Campground Finance Report – Lion T. Singer

$15 collected for dump station and one camper wash.

 

Clubhouse – Lion Shawn Fuller

Eyeglasses – Lion Tim Myers

Lion K. Maurer read thank you letters from the Senior Center and the Duncannon Borough.

 

Disaster Relief – Lion Ron Warfel

Check for $400 was delivered to Jillian Dietz to help with cost of hotel.

 

V.    Old Business:

Lion R. Warfel picked up the new water restriction sign. It will be placed on a metal pole, at eye level, at the campground entrance.

New Years Eve – 96 hot dogs and sauerkraut were prepared. 

 

VI. New Business:

District Governor meeting is February 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. It will be held at the Duncannon VFW and the cost is $15 per person.

Duncannon Fire Company is requesting donations for the new firehouse. The DLC will be donating $500 and be getting an engraved brick.  The letters for the Raffle on the Hill are coming out soon. Lion T. Myers will write one check for both.

King Lion R. Warfel will be starting to get tree trimming estimates in the next few weeks.

 

VIII.  Upcoming:

 

2026 Lease Changes – A letter regarding lease changes is complete and will be included in the 2026 lease packet.
