Six Lions and Eight Guests watched the Wood Ducks fall to the Potomac Nationals 5 to 9 on June 26, 2018. The group benefitted by purchasing Buy One Get One Free tickets with a Food Lion MVP Card. The Nationals took the lead early on and kept it throughout the game. Going to the game provided a great time of fellowship. Everyone seemed to enjoy the game even though the group was disappointed that the Wood Ducks did not win. The Ducks went on to win 3 out 5 games in the series with the Nationals. An outing to a ballgame has been a tradition of the Farmville Lions. In addition to the Wood Ducks, the Club has attended Mudcats games in Zebulon.
