The Ferrum Lions work hard in collecting money for the White Cane project. At this time we are not able to do in-person collecting for White Cane but will resume when it is safe to do so and an update will be posted.

The White Cane project helps fund a part of the cost of eyeglasses to those who qualify for assistance.

So when you see a Lions member with the White Cane bucket and a yellow apron, please be as generous as you can with a donation. Also, don't forget to leave your old eyeglasses at one of the drop-off spots for recycling. In the Ferrum area, a drop box is at the Ferrum Post Office or give the old glasses to a Lions member.
