About Us

Kittery Lions consist of over 60 men and women volunteers dedicated to improving the Kittery community. In everything we do, we make friends while assisting those with visual and hearing impairments; with youth programs; and with those less fortunate. We touch the lives of many people throughout the community.

We help those in need receive eye care, glasses and hearing aids. We collect eyeglasses which are refurbished and then sent to help those around the world who have no access to eye care. We also help with vision screenings, hearing, diabetes and other health issues.

We support Camp Sunshine - a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families on the shores of Sebago Lake, Maine.

We support Kittery youth programs such as girl and boy scouts, recreation services, Halloween party, little league baseball team and middle school football team.

We support those in the community who are less fortunate with donations to individuals and local organizations. We also loan hospital equipment throughout the community.

We provide scholarships to Traip Academy and York County Community College students.

We support national and world-wide humanitarian efforts with contributions to Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF).
