Morrisburg & District Lion President Linda Robinson and South Dundas Minor Hockey Association coach Cody Cassell were on hand at the Morrisburg Arena for an opportunity to exhibit a recent investment.  Our Lions club donated $1,500 to purchase five sets of youth goalie equipment and the SDMHA is offering a free goalie clinic to help train and develop young hopefuls for future achievement as goalies.

The "Sliver" Broom Award had been held by Morrisburg Lions Club for the last four meets. Today the 2023 Sliver Broom was reluctantly awarded by Morrisburg Lion Fred Langlotz to Iroquois Matilda Lion Steve Wilson. The final score was Iroquois 13 1/2, Morrisburg 10 1/2. Morrisburg & District Lions Club have received only 110 Christmas Trees this year. They are for sale as last year at the Morrisburg Canadian Tire. The trees are the popular Fraser Fir and range from 6 feet to 8 feet. The price is 52.99 plus tax which comes to 59.88 taxes in.
Trees go on sale this Thursday (Nov 24th) at 9 am. Pay for the tree in the CTC store and bring your ticket to the tree lot located on the east side of the store to select your tree.
Proceeds go to the local Food Banks


Our very own Lions Keith & Linda Robinson received the prestigious  Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medallion at Cornwall today, November 13th, 2022.
A well deserved award in recognition of their many years of community service.

On  Wednesday November 9th the Morrisburg and District Lions Club was pleased to present a $2000.00 cheque to Community Food Share.  Funds were raised from the Lions annual golf tournament.

The Lions did their annual fall roadside clean up on Saturday.
Twenty six bags of garbage in total were collected.

They went back to the clubhouse to prepare a delicious breakfast
as a reward for a task well done.

Even amidst the Covid-19 outbreak, Morrisburg & District Lions Club is still helping the community. 

On March 26th, 2020 Morrisburg and District Lions club made a donation to the local Community Food Share.
