Welcome to the Lions Den!
Lions Club International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members active in more that 200 countries. Founded in 1917, Lions are best know for fighting blindness. But we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects such as caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled.
Here at Shrewsbury Area Centennial Lions Club, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2017, we have been determined to build a broad network of diverse members. We are men and women who live and work in the Shrewsbury area. We come in all ages and backgrounds to work together in building a more vibrant community.
We meet twice a month at the Paul Smith Library to plan our activities, service projects, and where a guest speaker might attend. Through fundraising and various activities, we help those in need; locally, nationally, and worldwide. Funds raised through our efforts are 100 percent given back to the community and charitable causes.
We are always looking for new members!
- Give as much time as you wish, whatever your schedule allows
- Help make an impact locally and worldwide
