Freeport City Council Honors Freeport Host Lion’s Club
The Freeport City Council honored the Freeport Host Lion’s Club for continuing service to the community at its regular City Council Meeting, Monday, March 1.The City Council meeting was moved to River Place to accommodate an overflow crowd to award the winners of the Freeport Youth Art Contest.
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
