We have been serving Acocks Green and it's surrounding areas since September 1979.

The Lions club is a service organisation and joining is a great way to connect with people in your community! 

We participate in a variety of projects important to our community, through fundraising efforts and volunteering, we seek to assist those in need.

Charter Event at the Abbey Hotel Malvern  25/26th May 2012 

Magical Woodland Sponsored 5 mile walk near Earleswood Lakes to raise funds for Troop AID and Birmingham Federation of Clubs for Young People. On 29th September 2012 11am start.  Contact Terry by 7th September to recieve a sponsorship form and meeting point.

Recent Events

April 2012

We held a fund-raising quiz called Medicine & Man at Ninestiles School at 7.30pm on April 27th 2012

Fantastic event and we raise £408.46 towards the zone project.

Teams of up to six people took part at a cost £5 per head including supper.

Proceeds will go to the zone project to raise money for Solihull Hospital's Ward 8, the Acute Stroke Unit for the area. The 5 clubs have raised £2121.46 towards the cost of a specialised chair/bed for Ward 8.

President's meal at the Westley Hotel was well attended by friends and family of Acock's Green Lions.
