Taco Plates To-Go Fundraiser
Date: September 26, 2009 (11:00 A.M.)
Location: Cash Cow Pawn Parking Lot (1115 S. Gordon)
Alvin Evening Lions Club will be selling taco plates to raise funds to enable our club to purchase equipment that will allow us to better serve the community. The plates will consist of 2 beef or chicken tacos, rice, beans and a canned drink. Come out and help support the Alvin Evening Lions!

BACH Fun Fest
Date: August 1, 2009
Location: KC Hall on Hwy 6
Alvin Evening Lions Club will be volunteering at the BACH Fun Fest this year! The event is August 1 at the KC Hall from 5-7pm. They will have BBQ, silent auction, Live auction, and free children's activities. All monies collected at this event will go to BACH.
Supplying the Future of Alvin from the Heart of a Lion (School Supply Drive)
Date: August 8, 2009
Location: Cici's parking lot in Alvin
The club will be collecting new school supplies, backpack and monetary donations (to purchase more school supplies) that will be handed out at a later date. It will be held from 9am-1pm. For your donation, we will give you a coupon good for one free child's buffet at Cici's with the purchase of one adult buffet. Cici's is having their Ultimate Pizza Party that same day, so there will be all kinds of fun activities for the kiddos!

Location: AISD Administration Building on House St
We will be handing out the school supplies collected starting at 10am. The school supplies will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis. We will have pre-made bags or backpacks containing some of the basic necessities in school supplies for all ages. We will hand out one bag per child. We will not require any personal information from you, but THE CHILD MUST BE PRESENT TO GET A BAG! There will be no exception to this rule.
