Well as 2011 comes to a close it is time to look back,on all the success we have had as a club,We just finished the Santa Claus parade and it was another roaring success,hats off to Lion Nancy Bulter for her hard work at pulling it all together,we had 120 floats and Mr and Mrs Clause show up to the delight of everyone along the route,not to be forgotten,a big well done for everyone that showed up Friday night to help decorate the floats,a big thanks to Rosie for the hot coffee and cookies and the club president for the donuts,also a big well done to every one that helped with the parade to keep it running on smoothly and time. We also tried something new this year. We hosted along with the Bath lions club a Xmas craft sale,which was well received by the public and the vendors which are all willing to come back,so I guess we have a head start on the fund raising for 2012,a big thanks to all the guys that helped with the craft show putting up the tables and taking them down. We would like to thank Carmon for displaying the signs in different spots for the event,and a big thanks for the sign maker Don Clark.
This years pancake breakfast with Santa was a Big success thanks to the Chairman Lion Carmon Fisher and his Guiding Lights Lions Nancy Butler and Linda Clark.
The Christmas Hampers went extremely well and I would like to congratulate the Chairman Lion Neville Taylor for all his hard work and dedication putting the event together. I believe this was the biggest Hamper Campaign ever.
SO on that note a Job Well Done by all Lions.
