Charlotte with her Vice Chancellor's Scholarship letter.

The Vice Chancellor's Scholarship is awarded to students who are gifted and talented in their chosen subject area. The Scholarship is awarded to one student per faculty so she was chosen from all the students undertaking a degree in Sport/Physical Education.

The Scholarship is worth £27,000 during the remaining years of her Undergraduate Degree. This will pay for her University fees meaning she won't have to pay back £9,000 per year!

Charlotte was awarded this Scholarship for the Sports Development work that she carried out both locally and in South Africa. The University was impressed by her vast  experience at such a young age and admired the fact that she is  continually travel to South Africa and has fundraised, delivered sports equipment, and taught sports lessons in Agape Orphanage and a children's centre in the Township of Macassar. Especially as this is a country where Physical Education is not delivered through their National Curriculum.

Charlotte is currently studying BA Hons Physical Education- Secondary with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and is currently working at a 1st class honours level.
