The Bossier City Lions Club conducts the following annual major fund raising event:

Bossier Parish Football Jamboree

• All six Bossier Parish High Schools participate in the annual Jamboree.
• The Jamboree is held at the end of August at the Airline High School Stadium.
• The football coaches are treated to a fish fry during Jamboree week.
• The Jamboree Queens Luncheon is held the Thursday before the Jamboree.
• Much planning and hard work by the Lions is required for a successful Jamboree.

The proceeds from the Jamboree are used to enhance the lives of the residents of Bossier City and Bossier Parish.
