                                                       WE SERVE

Formed February 18th, 1948, the Chester Lions Club has evolved into a small but active group of individuals who are dedicated to the founding principle of service to community.

The club stays busy with a variety of community projects such as:  providing eye exams and glasses for needy area residents; donating food to needy people through food banks and baskets; granting scholarships to local students; funding special worthwhile community related requests; periodically hold mobile eye unit; host guest speakers; participate in area clean-ups; entertain local children with Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.

Fund raisers include an annual golf scramble; participation in VFD fall bash; July 4th car show and food booth; food booth at Top of the State show; food booth at Old Time Fair and food booth at Orchards at Foxcrest.

Chester Lions is always interested in new members.  If you are interested in membership, call any of the officer numbers located on our contact page.
