We sell Nevada Tickets at the Courtice Flea Market, each Saturday and Sunday at 9am-4pm.
Adopt-A-Road Program-We've adopted Trulls Road, from Bloor St to King St., Courtice, for clean up. This year we will be meeting on Sat April 23/11, at the church on Trulls Rd, south of King St/Highway 2 at 9:00am to begin the cleanup. Additional help would be very much appreciated.
We sponsor a Free Skate with Santa/Craft and Bake Sale at the South Courtice Arena in December each year. Call Lion Georgie at 289-355-2308 for further information and for details on the Craft and Bake Sale.
Our annual Purina Walk for Dog Guides will be held on Sunday May 29/11. The assembly point is Courtice Community Centre on Courtice Rd N at 9:00am. For more info on dog walks, go to www.purinawalkfordogguides.com.
We are doing Vision Screening and Hearing Screening at several schools in Courtice.
We sponsor Effective Speaking in the schools in Courtice. Several of our students have gone on to District and Multiple District "A" finals.

Lion Bud continues to present VIP medalions to the Grade 6 classes in the local Courtice schools in the spring and early summer.
MedicAlert-No Child Without
A partnership has been formed with the Lions Clubs of Canada and MedicAlert to provide a MedicAlert braclet and membership to all school kids in Canada, up to age 14, at no cost to the students. MedicAlert administers the program and the Lions Clubs provide some of the financial support. Past International Director Lion Terry Graham, with the Newcastle Lions Club, is heading up the Canadian program, and CT Lion Jack Fisher, of the Courtice Lions Club, is the District A-3 representative. The Environment
Lion Bill Odynski is our environmental champion. He has been very active for several years collecting used eye glasses (over 12,000 so far) for reycling to third world countries. He also collects pop tabs and cans, and beer and liquor bottles and cans for recycling.
