PERMANENT PROJECTS

1. Lions Community Service Centre. We carry out our most of the activities from here.The building is complete. Digboi Lions salute Lion Hareswer Das who donated this peice of land and inspired all the Digboi Lions to go for its own permanent builging.

2. FREE HEALTH CLINIC for underprivilaged people of the community at Lions Community Service Centre was inaugurated by Lion T. Satyapriya Singh, District Governor - District 322D on 19th September 2006. The clinic was the brain Child of Lion Dr. Bhaben Talukdar and the dream project of the club was concieved under the leadership of Lion Y S Kardam, who left no stone unturned to launch the project. Other lion members who supported the project were Lion Dr. P C Goswami, Lion R L Sarma, Lion Abhijit Singh Chowdhury, Lion Nanak Barua, Lion T P Singh Saini, the list is endless.

3. Fuel Efficient Cremation Ground at Bogapai - Digboi. This unit was built in the year 1990 for the benifit of the community in and around Bogapani so that cremination can be performed in a decent way.The premises are being maintained by Lion R K Barooah

4. Primary School at Haldibari Village. The school was built in the year 1962 for the childer of this village and srounding villages. From time to time we lions Nad Lionesses of Digboi visit this school and hold health camps for the children of this area.

5. Passenger Bus Shelter at Ramnagar. A vital need for commuters is a bus shelter, and this need was met by Lion Y S Kardam,who donated this to Lions Club Of Digboi in the year 1995. and it was greatly appreciated by the commuters.

6. PATIENT WAITING SHED at Digboi Civil Hospital. A vital need for the attendents of the patients
