Sales, fall turkey shoots, drawings, building and other projects for eye care, scholarships, and charities, community service projects.
We man a booth at the Dan Emmett Festival in Mount Vernon, Ohio selling ROOT BEER FLOATS and water and soft drinks. Proceeds go to our projects to serve the community. See a picture of our booth in the gallery.
We generally buy a pig from a youth at the Knox County Fair livestock sale as an assistance to the county young farmers.
We give college scholarships to Seniors of East Knox High School. We've given 46 out over the years. These scholarships are in memory of Earl & Helen Ann Campbell. Earl was a charter member of our club and a great supporter of the local school system.
We have a 5K Run along with the Danville OH Turkey Festival. We had over 50 runners this Spring.
A few years ago we also built and donated a Pavilion along the 14 mile Kokosing Gap Trail. In building this, all members of our club, young and old, took part in at least pounding in a nail. See a picture in our gallery.
