Seasonal PROJECTS and FUNDRAISERS

SPRING:

Marion Health Fair

Wild Game Feast--a variety of delicious wild game dishes, including moose, elk, venison, small game, with dessert, and raffles!

Easter Egg Hunt--Palm Sunday, usually at Tigerton Community Park Shelter, 1:00 PM

Scholarship Award presentation in May--scholarship given yearly to a senior who has participated in community service (among other considerations)

Road Clean Up--Spring and Fall, County Highway J between State Highways 29 and 45.

Rummage Sale--dependent on amount of rummage collected,  Will include food and bake sale, if held.

Forest Home Cemetery--several years ago, we cleaned up, repaired headstones, and debrushed this "forgotten" cemetery, installed stairs, and currently maintain its upkeep.  Located on Schoolhouse Road, Bowler.

SUMMER:

Pork and Corn Roast--a delicious dinner, including pie and ice cream, and raffles!

Parades--we participate in as many area parades as possible

Guest Night--previously at the August meeting, now at discretion of Membership Committee 

FALL:

Rummage Sale--dependent on amount of rummage collected, Will include food and bake sale, if held.

Road Clean Up--County Highway J between State Highways 29 and 45.

Thanksgiving food baskets--to help create a happy holiday for area people

WINTER:

Children's Christmas Party-- the first Sunday in December, from 1:00-3:00 PM.

Fruit Baskets--a holiday treat for the elderly, shut-ins, or those who have recently suffered a loss
