Who are the Goochland County Lions? We are a group of local individuals that have served the Goochland County community for 38 years promoting sight and hearing conservation and supporting many other local programs and groups in our community.
Goochland Lions recently planted 3 Sugar Maples at the Goochland High School entrance to complement the single, existing Maple. Four seniors from GHS assisted in the project, which was part of the Lions Clubs International campaign to plant a million trees this year. Click "Tree Planting Project" tab for add'l. pictures.
We are now taking applications from GHS seniors for our $1000 & $500 scholarships to help with college expenses. Click here for a copy of the application.
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
