Several Hammonton Lions and Leos joined together on Saturday, April 14th to participate in the ACUA's Adopt-A-Road Program. The club has adopted Fairview Ave. from Third St. to the White Horse Pike and cleans it several times during the year.

The Hammonton Lions held a White Cane Event at Bagliani's Market on April 14th to collect funds that go directly to sight projects and promote awareness programs that help the blind and visually impaired.

King Lion Michael Villani and Vice President Matthew Zuccarello welcomed Dr. Johanna Johnson who spoke to the club about a Village concept which supports community members who live independently to remain in their homes as long as possible.

New member, Arlene Capelli (c), was inducted into the Hammonton Lions Club at the April 3rd meeting. Congratulating her King Lion Michael Villani and her sponsor, Lion Rosalie Baker.

Lion Bob Bauers (c), chairperson of Kids Sight First USA committee, proudly holds the PlusOptix eye screening device that the Hammonton Lions Club secured through several private donations obtained by King Lion Michael Villani for its purchase.

King Lion Michael Villani (r) welcomed Debbie Giacomoni, Program and Community Relations Assistant for CASA, (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and Malcolm Henderson a CASA volunteer to speak to the Lions at their March 27th meeting.

District Governor Clarence Brown(c) presents Lions International Club Excellence Award to Immediate Past President Lisa DeKlerk for the accomplishments of the Hammonton Lions under her leadership during the 2016-2017 club year.
