Lions Day at the Zoo – Provided train rides for more than 200 people, took photos of children and parents with the Noon Lion, and provided free popcorn, drinks, and balloons. Purpose was to promote the club and support the free Hutchinson Zoo through a donation to Friends of the Zoo.

Kansas State Fair Eye Bank Booth – club members manned the booth at the Kansas State Fair.

October

Fundraiser for Masabah (family) children -- Club members served lunch during a day-long fundraiser on the Kansas State Fairgrounds to assist three children who lost both parents through a tragedy, and who have no other family in the United States. The group contributed 30 hours to the event and purchased left-over supplies.

Sponsored Hospitality Room at Nov. 6 Lions State Council meeting in McPherson, KS -- club members manned the hospitality room for the State Council Meeting on November 6, 2010. Many club members participated in providing snacks for the event.

Bell ringing for Salvation Army -- Members of Noon club rang bells for the Salvation Army for a day. Those assisting included the Noon Lions Club mascot.

Christmas Tree Lane decoration for Hutchinson Zoo - Christmas tree ornaments made by Dillon Living Center residents were placed on the club's assigned tree at the zoo. Zoo visitors voted for their favorite tree with proceeds benefitting the zoo.

Donated funds to a SVOSH student volunteer – assisted thevolunteer raise funds for a mission trip to assist low income residents of a foreign country improve and preserve their sight. The student is a native of Kansas and is studying at the Southern College of Optometry.

Pancake and Sausage Feed -- The Noon club's 2nd annual Pancake and Sausage Feed fundraiser. An equal number of youth volunteers and Lions club members assisted in this fundraiser at 14 persons each. The Lions club members put in approximately 100 hours total and the Reno County Communities That Care Youth Leadership Group contributed a total of approximately 43 hours.
