(2). On 8th of July, 2017. Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club embark on the Club Signatory Project (Legacy Project), Adult Literacy Campaign, In conjunction with Lagos State Agency for Mass Education.

 

The study centre that started with 25 Adults  3 years ago, which the 4th year starts this July with 60 students with aim of achieving and increasing the numbers of the students and the classes to 150 students by the end of this Lions year (2017/2018).

Since inception, 2 sets have graduated from Literacy to post literacy after learning on how to read, write and understand, while their 2 teachers are working greatly with the standard of learning as a government approved teachers.

 

The mission is to join in the worldwide campaign against illiteracy and reduce the percentage and make a positive difference to people living with illiteracy in the society, while empowering them to Education. #LIONS100 #LionsClub #WeServe
