The Kennett Square Lions Club, Morning Branch, sponsored six students from Kennett Middle School to enter the 2012 Lions International Peace Poster Contest. The Morning Branch selected the entry of Pam Moonthianngam to move forward to compete at the state level.
On Tuesday, April 2nd members of the Morning Branch met with students Alexis Gavina, Pam Moonthianngam, Gabby Mento, Rhea Jaing, Tamblyn Mitchell and Lilly Alba, and their teachers, Maryanne Uhl and Amanda Conner. The Lions thanked them for their participation and awarded a prize to Pam Moonthianngam. All of the students received note cards with their entry on the cover prepared by Lion Debra Swayne.
