Kennett Square Lions Branch Club

 

 

Helping a local resident with yard cleanup.

The leaf clean-up was provided by the Morning Branch of the Kennett Lions Club as a silent auction offering at our Fright Feast.  The winning bidder received the services of our members (8 were available) for 2 ½ hours.  The home, located near Hockessin, DE, was surrounded by many trees, as shown in the pictures, so we had our work cut out for us.  But many hands make light work, so we got the job done and had fun in the process.  The clean-up was a welcome relief for the recipients… the wife had just had hip replacement 2 ½ weeks prior and the husband had been hospitalized for heart concerns.
