• This is a worthy local charity, they are entirely volunteer. They pick up meals prepared in the hospital for the cost of the food and deliver it to home bound people, elderly or handicapped. 
• The volunteers use their own cars, gas, and delivery pouches.
• The delivery visit is a welcome visitor for those that don’t get out.
• They are not part of Meals on Wheels because they don’t want to be told who they can’t feed, if they see the need, they fill it.
• The tough times have been hard on Home Delivered Meals and they need all the help they can get, check out their website

The Lake Jackson Lions Club is proud to have former campers heading up our lions camp committee. TLC is one if the nicest summer camps with the finest facilities available and it’s just for special needs kids. The summer camp sessions are for children with various physical and/or medical disabilities; there is also a session specifically for children with Type 1 Diabetes. The camp is offered completely free of charge to campers and provides a safe and fun environment for these children. Lions build, maintain and financially support this camp and its one of our favorite Lions club charities.
