Lions help in promoting Braille reading skills for students who are blind or have low vision. This was the First Annual Braille-A-Thon event held June 2009 on the Capitol lawn.

It takes a village to stage a parade. Silver Bells in the City parade in downtown Lansing draws over 100,000 spectators to the streets each November. Brrr! Its fun!
