CLUB PROJECTS

Since our club was established, we have raised in excess of $50,000.00. We have been able to raise this money through the generous and unwavering support of the businesses and private donations of individuals in and around the East End and Landmark communities.  Businesses and individuals have donated substantial amounts of both merchandise and money to our various projects. Every donation and purchase over the years has made it possible for us to contribute significantly to our communities, help fund Lions International, and we look forward to their continued support in the years and decades to come.

A few of our club projects include:

- Donations to the East End, Landmark and Sardis Fire Departments

- Helping to build and maintain the The Crossing at Angel Court Park in East End for physically challenged children

- Helping to support the "I Can Foundation" which is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping physically challenged children in our community;

- A monetary donation to a visually challenged child to help defray the cost of surgery on both eyes at a hospital in Texas

- Sending blind children to summer camp

- Providing glasses for needy adults and children in our communities

- Donations to Food Pantries in our area

- Orchestrated a clean-up of local streets

- Donations annually to World Services for the Blind

- Donations annually to Lions International Foundation

- Established an Angel Tree project to help underprivileged children in two schools during Christmas.  Churches and businesses in the area, as well as members of the club, buy gifts for 90 to 140 children;

- Restored a Bell Tower for the Landmark Elementary School

- Assistance and support to individuals and familes in need
