The Lord Baltimore Lions Club is pleased to announce that two scholarships will be awarded at the May 23 Awards Night at Indian River High School. One award is a four year Scholarship valued at $6,000, renewable annually by maintaining a 3.25 GPA. The second award is a one year Scholarship valued at $1,500.
Scholarship Applications are now available here on our web site, or through the guidance office at Indian River High School. These Scholarships are awarded annually to students who attend Indian River High School and live in the following ZIP Codes: 19930, 19939, 19945, 19967, and 19970. Applications are reviewed by a committee who rate each student on academic success, financial need, and extracurricular and community activities
This is the first year for dedicating our Scholarships in Memory of Lion Ralph Helm. Lion Ralph was a member of Lord Baltimore Lions Club from 1950 to 1960 when he transferred to the Newark, De. Lions Club. He served as Club President of both Clubs and had perfect attendance at meetings for 40 years. He served as District Governor of 22D in1964 and 1965. Lion Ralph was elected to the Board of Directors of Lions International in 1977 and served in that capacity for two years. His accomplishments were outstanding both in the Local and International environment. Lord Baltimore Lions Club is honored to Award this year's Scholarships in his name:
