Madison West Lions Club

Does for the community

• Donates to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation and the Eye Bank of Wisconsin
• Transports eye tissue for the Wisconsin Eye Bank
• Arranges for free eyeglasses for those who cannot afford them
• Collects used eyeglasses and hearing aids
• Volunteers to help WHA-TV with their fundraiser
• Participates in the Dane County Adopt-A-Highway program
• Sponsors and assists the LEO Club (High School service club)
• Awards scholarships to Westside High School students and LEO club members each year
• Donates to community projects such as the East Madison Community Center and the Wisconsin Safety Patrol trip
• Collects books in support of the Hope House Project
• Staffs information table for Diabetes Alert Day
• Supports Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt, WI for children with visual hearing or mild cognitive disabilities and children with diabetes
