Lions Community Village
This is our largest ongoing projecrt and it began in 1977 and is designed to provide affordable accommodation in a safe environment for the aged.

The Moama Lions Community Village committee comprises  of Lions members, Murray River Council councillor and staff. The management committee meets monthly and manages the day to day running of the units.

The Lions Community Village now consists of 28 units with further units in the first planning stage.

Carols by Candlelight

The Moama Lions Club holds Carols by Candlelight in December each year at the Kerrabee Soundshell in Moama.

This is our way of giving back to our community and say thank you to all those people who supported us during the year, whether it be buying a sausage during one of our BBQ's, getting one of our Christmas Cakes or by donating to us.

This is a fantastic night and what better way to start the Christmas celebrations. Music and entertainment is provided during the night by many volunteers, and of course it would not be Carols by Candlelight without a visit from Santa.

And what would a Lions Function be without a BBQ. Our members are flat out each year cooking sausages, burgers and chips.

Our reward for this night is to see all the smiling faces, young and old, getting together and celebrating.

That is all we ask for.

Every year from November to January our cakes our available in outlets in Moama or from our club.
