Lion President John Reding accepts a check from Lacey Johnson of Baxter Health Care (Baxter Lab) in the amount of $354.66. Funds were raised by Baxter's Community Citizen Team for sight care assistance in our community.

Lion Bob Merriman (Sun Lakes, AZ) presents Lion Don Rosa with a check for $2,000 to aid the residents of the City of Gassville who were hit by a tornado in February 2008.

Our club was able to donate $16,000 for Josh Moore and Kacie Sallee to travel to China for sight treatment involving umbilical cord stem cells. Also shown Lion Jerry Strobel and Lion Don Rosa.

Pres. Larry Luman presents a check for $2,040.00 to Norine Westerbeck, Coordinator for Arkansas National Camp for Blind, and guest Mary Stratton, who is blind and has attended the Camp for Blind at Yorktown Bay near Hot Springs on Lake Ouachita.

Our 2006 auction netted over $24,000. Lion Jerry Strobel offered to have a bottle of shampoo poured on his head if someone would bid $25 for it. The bid came in instantaneously. Also shown are Lions Kearnie Carlton, Erica Warmoth and Shelly Hill.
