"Donation for Lion Ladies "  

This year (2012/2013)the Lion Ladies Association of District 306C2 – Sri Lanka have taken a giant step forward and have come forward to serve the underprivileged communities of Sri Lanka. This year under the direction of their Patron Lion Lady Geethanjalee Jayasinghe the Chairperson of Lion Ladies Association of District 306C2 – Sri Lanka, Lion Lady Susiri Wijeratne with the help of her team have initiated a project to build a waiting hall with 100 seats at the Gothatuwa Hospital. For this worthy cause Nawalametro Lions donate SL Rs.35,000.00 to the Lion Ladies Association of District 306C2 – Sri Lanka, during their 1^st Charter Anniversary which was held on the 12^th January 2013 at Steam Boat Restaurant  Banquet Hall, Nawala.

"1st Charter Held in Grand Scale"

The 1St Charter Anniversary Celebrations of Lions Club of Nawala Metro of District 306C2 – Sri Lanka, was held on 12th January 2013 at the Banquet Hall of Steam Boat Restaurant, Nawala. The Chief Guest for this colourful event was District Governor (2012/2013) District 306C2 – Sri Lanka Lion Gamini Jayasinghe MJF.
