This year the New Britain Lions has some exciting new things happing from our new website to a club social on Trinity On Main – from Facebook to our tree planting event with the New Britain Boy’s and Girls Club. Please visit our website and facebook page often for up to the minute updates.
Here is a quick review on current news and events:
News:
New Website - With the help of Charles and Cris Carillo we should have our new website up and running within a week or so. Our new website will make it easier for the admin to update members, upload flyers, newsletters and photos. The website will also be user friendly so that our members can navigate through the site easily and find information quickly. Our new website address is:
*Please remember the website is under construction and the layout is being worked on so the information on it may not be correct. Once I get the go ahead I will ensure that all information is up to date and correct.
Facebook – We have a new facebook page and I need 20 people to like us so that it can be up and running. Facebook will help us provide members with the latest up to date information on events and important news. Please consider visiting us at

Events:
January 22nd – Lion Alan Daninhirsch will be holding a meeting at the New Britain YMCA for CCSU students who wish to establish a lions campus club.
Pediatric Eye Screening - January 26th YMCA in Kensington & January 27th N.B. Boy and Girls Club. Lion Alan Daninhirsch will keep us updated as the event gets closer.
February 18th - Club social at Trinity On Main. The program will include dinner (Jeske’s) and a Murder Mystery. Please save the date and check our website and facebook page frequently for up to the minute updates on this exciting event.
April – Tree Planting Event with the New Britain Boy’s and Girls Club more information will follow as it becomes available.
May 12th – Spring Auction – The auction will be help at the French Model Council Club on East Main Street in New Britain.
