Dear Lions Club,
    On April 6, 2011 my son Jackson and I attended the MSAD 74 kindergarten screening at Solon Elementary. Your club was there performing eye exams for the children. Your exam detected a problem with Jackson's vision. Based on that exam Jackson's doctor referred him have a complete eye exam. We went to that appointment today and they determined that Jackson had an undiagnosed problem that left undetected could have resulted in irreversible loss of sight by the time he was a teen. Because of your early detection we are able to correct this problem now and the hope is that by the time he is a teenager he may not even need glasses. Because of his age there were no signs to there being a problem, there is no way we would have known without your exam. By the time there were signs of a problem it could've been too late. My husband and I wish to thank you for your time and efforts. There really are not enough words to express how appreciative we are.
