When did the Lions get started?
Nogales Lions Club was chartered on April 23, 1945 and has served Nogales since.
How many members are there?
The Nogales Club is made up of 52 members men and women
When and Where do they meet?
We meet Tuesdays at 12:00 noon At Mr. C's Restaurant
What do Lions' do? Lions meet the critical needs of their communities and of the world ranging from assisting the visually impaired and working with local youth to medical missions and disaster relief. 
What do the Nogales Lions do? Recycle for sight: eye glass project; Holiday clothing Project: we purchase a full set of clothing to include shoes and breakfast for needy children of Nogales; Junior Olympics; Peace Poster Contest; Adopt a highway: Highway clean up; Flags for First Graders; C. Kirby Smith Student Exchange program; Provide hearing aids for the needy, and Sponsors NHS students of the month and PVS students of the quarter; provide scholarships to students in Nogales and Patagonia High School.  
 
How do the Lion's get it all done $$?
The Nogales Lions Club raise money by selling raffle tickets at certain times of the year and having other fund raising events like pizza sales downtown etc. Walmart is a loyal contributor and funds the holiday clothing project yearly
 
You can donate to Lion's Club and support their hard work by making checks payable to Nogales Lions Club and mail to P.O. Box 1148, Nogales Arizona 85628.
 
How does one become a Lion? You have be invited by a Lions Club member to become a member, you must pay a membership fee, and you must be willing and ready to serve your community
 
I would like to volunteer in my community but why should I do so as a Lion?  Lions meet the needs of those in their communities as well as around the world. Working together locally, internationally, the worldwide network of Lions has vastly more resources and is able to accomplish much more than individuals and small groups working alone.
