The club was chartered in 1963. We meet at Olive Garden, with general meetings the 1st and 3rd Mondays, a business meeting the 2nd Monday. Our meeting time is 5:30 P.M. 

Our dues are $135 each year.  This includes the cost of the district, state and international dues.

The major projects for our club consist of supporting eye examinations and eyeglasses for underpriviuliged school children, Bridges of Norman, Food and Shelter of Norman,  the Oklahoma Lions Meadows of Hope, Internationsl Lions projects, plus other community projects.  Most of the money raised stays in Norman. We also collect used eye glasses and hearing aids. Collection boxes for glasses are located at both Norman Post Offices.
