Ordinary People Who Do Amazing Things

Northleach and Fosse Lions Club is a community organisation dedicated to helping and supporting those in need. All lions are members of the Lions Club International and every club works together for the greater good.

What do lions do?

Lions Clubs are proud to say that 100% of all the funds that they raise go to good causes both locally and abroad.  Lions Clubs share a common mission and code of ethics regardless of where their members live and work.  This provides a core foundation for our support of local communities across the world.  Our principles involve thinking of others first, and acting to benefit the public interest.  Lions clubs are a mix of both male and female members, some in full time employment and others retired, however we are all focused on the same aims and work together to achieve those aims.

Message in a Bottle

We support the Lions initiative, 'Message in a Bottle' (MIAB).  Lions provide vulnerable people with a white plastic bottle containing a form containing vital information about you that could save your life due to the speed with which the Emergency Services could respond to your individual needs. The bottle is placed where the Emergency Services are trained to look, in the refrigerator door. A green cross sticker is placed on the inside of the main house door, or where it is considered would be most obvious and another sticker on the door of the fridge.  These bottles are available from local pharmacies or doctors surgeries completely free of charge.  To find out more, click here
