• Vision Screening at the Community Appreciation Event at the Expo Center in Fort Pierre.
• Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions helped two people get eye exams and glasses

August 2023 -

• Trader Days Breakfast - Lions sell breakfast to individuals enjoying Fort Pierre Trader Days.

• Lions and School Board members serve breakfast to students, parents and staff on the first day of school at Stanley Co. School.

• Lions sell meals out of the chuckwagon at the State Horseshoe Tournament in Griffin Park in Pierre

September 2023-

• Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions went to the State Fair in Huron, SD to screen the vision of children at the Fair.
• Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions screened the vision of about 1650 children in the Pierre and Fort Pierre communities this month.
• Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions cleaned the ditches of about a mile of highway this month.
• Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions helped two people get eye exams and glasses.
• We collected 392 pair of used eyeglasses to be recycled

October 2023 - 

• So far the Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions screened the vision of over 300 children and have more coming up.
• Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions raised funds at Pizza Ranch by helping in the dining room.
