2011:  $5900 in donations to Beachy Cove Elementary School to cover a new SmartBoard and a fully inclusive swing for the new playground.

From 2009-2011 we sponsored full membership in MedicAlert for all students entering Beachy Cove Elementary with life threatening medical conditions.

Every year, the Club sends a vision impaired person to the Lion Max Simms Camp.

In approved cases, we provide financial assistance to families in need in our community.

We partner with our municipal council and our RC Legion to sponsor and serve the annual Seniors Appreciation Dinner.

We provide visitation and gifts to former residents of Portugal Cove - St. Philip's in long term care at Christmas.

We support our local Scout and Guide movements.

We donate to the Bell Island Food Bank.

We provide assistance toward food hampers distributed by our community churches at Christmas.

In 2009 we purchased all new mattress covers for the Lion Max Simms Camp for $1400.

We participate in our community regattas and sponsor races.

In 2010 we helped send two children to Ostomy Camp in Ontario.

Each year we present an award to a Grade 6 student of Beachy Cove Elementary who exhibits humanitarian traits in line with those of Lions International.

We also support the Lions Foundation of Canada, the Lions Clubs International Foundation, Lions Hearing and Speech, the Diabetes Cavalcade, and the Janeway Hospital.

We collect and remit hundreds of used eyeglasses for recycling and distribution around the world.
