The Rye City Lions Club was chartered in 1927 and is the oldest service organization in Rye. The membership of the Rye City Lions Club consists of individuals who live or work in Rye or its neighboring communities. The Club strives to support those activities through fundraising and fellowship that enhance the well-being of our neighborhoods, other sevice organizations, and individuals with challenges to visual acuity. Currently, the Club enjoys the membership of 37 men and women who work to make the Club and its activities successful. Bi-monthly meetings are informative and fun to attend.
