Rye & District Lions Club's main fund raising projects are their Annual Rye Raft Race & Fete, the annual Brass Band Concert, Christmas Collections, Easter Eggs Raffle, tombolas at local fetes and festivals, etc.

In addition to the donations made to many charities, listed on the Home page, Rye Lions provide an annual lunch for over 100 local over-70s once per year, free and with transport to and from home. 

They organised a fund-raising campaign to raise £5,800 for a motorised wheelchair for a spina bifida lady. 

They are also closely involved in the collection of desperately needed items for the shoe-box appeal for Gomel in Belarus.

"Message in a Bottle" bottles are supplied to doctors' surgeries, chemists and seniors' clubs in Rye & District.
