Canada Day Parade - 3:00 p.m. - Sharpe - Start

Fireworks Display @ Dusk. Shawville Fair Grounds.

Please don't forget the Shawville Fair, held on Labour Day Weekend. Thursday through Monday.

""BEST"" HAMBURGERS, DOGS, FRIES, ETC. in Western Quebec.

All served at the Lions Booth, Located at the Main Enterance of the Fair Grounds.

HELP US TO HELP THOSE LESS FORTUNATE

We are trying a new Fund Raising Project this year!!!!  It's a GOLF BALL RACE!!!!  Taking place on July 1st.  Tickets are only $5.00 each, available from any lion member of our club.  Prizes are: 1st Place $500.00, 2nd Place $250.00, 3rd Place $100.00.

  A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Shawville Lions Club has teamed up with Canadian MedicAlert & Dr. S.E. McDowell Elementary School,in Shawville, suporting the NO CHILD WITHOUT PROGRAM.  Supplying MedicAlert Bracelets to Students free of charge.

 

Along with the Pontiac Hospital Foundation, Shawville Lions Club has completed a four year project to raise $600,000.00 for a five chair Dialysis Unit. We achieved over $609,000.00 with a couple more fund raisers to be completed. The unit is scheduled to open by 2013 year end, but has been put on hold by the Goverment of Quebec.
