Shell Knob Lions Club now has running water at the CCC Park after spending many months getting approval for our solution from all agencies involved. Our club maintains this park which is under the National Forest Service. It is a major asset to the community which we are striving to hang on to since the Forest Service had limited funds to invest in our small community. The Club payed 100% of the costs to run in a new water supply. The sewage leakage which contaminated the well came to a happy ending with the Forest Service securing a new facility for our beautiful and much used CCC Park. Through the years the Club has put in a Pavilion, Tennis court, playground and an overlook deck which sits high above Table Rock Lake and commands a fantastic view.
