Meetings

Welcome!  Come and join us!

The Lions Club of South Riding welcomes new members. Lions are service-minded women and men who are interested in doing volunteer work to improve their communities. Through membership you have an opportunity to help those in need in our community and throughout the world. You will have opportunities to develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership experience. To find out how to visit a Lions Club meeting or become a member of a Lions Club, please call Jane Jackson at 703-378-5691.

Dinner Meetings featuring a guest speaker are held at 43987 John Mosby Highway (US 50) on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.

Thirteenth Annual Charity Golf Tournament-- Our tournament on June 25, 2014 at the Virginia Oaks Golf Club in Gainesville was a big success. Thanks to all the players, sponsors, and the staff at Virginia Oaks for making it a great day for all. Their support will help the South Riding Lions Club continue to help those in our community.

Our LEO Clubs:  We sponsor three very active LEO Clubs at Mercer Middle School, Freedom High School, and Michael J Lunsford Middle School.  LEO clubs provide their members with the camaraderie and growth that come from participation in community service projects, social functions and leadership development. Youth who join Leo clubs have fun, make new friends and experience the rewards of serving others.

We sponsor Cub Scouts:  The South Riding Lions Club is pleased to be the charter organization for Cub Scout Pack 910 at Liberty Elementary School and Cub Scout Pack 1999 at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School in Brambleton.

BROOM SALE: We are offering the opportunity to buy an American made, natural fiber, broom for only $10! These are great brooms. Contact Leroy Jackson at 703-378-5691
