D. A. Dennis, Sr., Ph.D., is the author of “The Reflections of an Educator”: A work that is geared toward the self-reflection process for urban educators and para-professionals as they embark upon shaping and molding the minds of young people, starting at the head-start level. The book is a short, reflective workbook for interaction and introspection. He is also an author of “The Perils of Institutional Indoctrination; Getting Beyond the Veil.”: A Work that deals with his journey from religion into his conscious relationship with the creator. The work also highlights the history of religion itself and the need for metaphysical awakening.

 

He currently serves professionally as a Holistic Life Counselor, Certified Life Coach and Pastoral Counselor for Mastery Beyond Boundaries, LLC where he also conducts lectures, workshops and seminars on the importance of mental health awareness for the individual, family and also business levels, helping to bridge the gap between executives and employees. 

Dr. Dennis has led several community-based projects in Baltimore as a Guardian Angel, Florida as a community activist, workshop lecturer at the Polk County School System Head-Start Program, Lecturer for the Polk County P.A.L. Graduating Seniors Program and Resident Mental Health Advisor for New Life Ministries Men’s Rehab Center.
