Who are the Waipu Lions?

The Waipu Lions Club celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2016 and so for over 50 years we have proudly served the Waipu and broader Bream Bay communities.

Our members come from many different walks of life but all share the core belief that our community is what we make it. That is why we provide help where help is needed.

We Care, We Serve, We Accomplish

Our activities include:

  • Supporting local families in need
  • Maintaining the McKenzie Coastal Trail.
  • Providing the annual Waipu Senior Citizens Luncheon

Our fundraising projects include:

  • Catering at events such as The Races, Guy Fawkes,  and Highland Games
