Meetings

 Christmas in July 2018

We catered to spoil 150 learners from various primary schools within the Katlehong area and a funfilled day was shared by everyone.

The principal, Mr. Moloi of Keketso Primary School, (the host school) addressing the learners before the activities begin.

A huge thank you to ADT Security for sponsoring the beautiful face painting for the day.

Thanks to some of the men who made mini golf so much fun

And the ladies who helped decorate biscuits with lots of icing and sweets

Soccer and relays for the learners, thanks Lions. It didn't seem to tire the learners out though smiley

As well as tattoos placed on the learners' necks, arms, ankles and faces

Fishing was great fun as the learners got to choose their prizes

And Many thanks to Megan from "Beanies for Beings" for donating the prizes and teddy bears

What would be a day without food. Thanks to the kitchen staff and helpers for making the hotdogs and coldrink and also to the staff for making the volunteers a delicious lunch. A huge thank you to Bidfood for the viennas and the muffins for the learners.

After lunch we were blessed to have a few songs sung to us by the choir and also a Mandela Tribute poem read out so beautifully raising awareness of the significance of helping each other.

To end the day off, Alberton Lions Club gave each child a goodie bag filled with stationery, sandwiches, beanies, scarves and a couple of other goodies.

Thank you to volunteers, ADT, Beanies for Beings, Bidfood and especially to Alberton Lions Club for making Christmas in July such a success.

We look forward to making memories again next Christmas in July
