March 2015: The President of the Amersham & Chesham Lions Club, Chris Orchard, presented a cheque for £2,000 to the Cancer Care and Haematology Fund at Stoke Mandeville Hospital

April 2014: Hand over of a new water well at Onigbin (Nigeria) commissioned by the club and installed by Ibadan Lions Club. The club has commissioned more than 50 such wells since the late 1970s

March 2013: Lions collected £516 for the Maris Curie Cancer Care charity

November 2012: St George's School in Amersham is at a junction which is very busy at school drop off time. The Lions donated money to purchase road safety costumes and equipment which will be used when the children are taught road safety

November 2012: New gate, paid for by the club, celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The gate is on a path just to the east of Milk Hall Barns HP5 1QH. Installed by The Chiltern Society

September 2012: Presentation of £3,000 cheque to Elaine Ball of the Thomas Ball Childrens Cancer Fund

July 2012: The new club officers for 2012-13. Bob Roe (incoming President) is in the middle

June 2011: Donkey Derby. 3,000 people attended and £5,000 was raised. The proceeds of the event are shared between the Lions Club and 3rd Chesham St Mary’s Scouts.

May 2011: Chesham Beer Festival at Chesham United Football Club. 300 people attended and £1,250 was raised for charity.

May 2011: presentation of the Easter Pub Raffle Shield to the Landlords (Nigel & Sam Byatt) of the Swan Public House, Ley Hill, by John Suckling (Lions President) as they again raised the most money in the raffle (£150 out of £590).
