The Lions Club of Mount Waverley undertake a number of fundraising and community support inititives:
- BBQ's at Bunnings - Notting Hill, Springvale and Chadstone
- BBQ's for Local community groups and events, including Public Housing Tenant events, The Friends of the Damper Creek and Monash Council events
- Christmas Cakes Sales - look out for details and dates soon
- Youth of the Year Awards - details coming soon
- Sponsorship of local children to attend the Lions camp at Licola in Gippsland
- Sponsorship of Community Services Awards for local secondary schools
- Providing cash and food items to the community via Neighbourhood Houses
- Christmas Hampers delivered to those in need
- Staffing of the Lions opportunity shop at Mt Waverley Shopping Centre
- Supporting apeals for local and international disaster relief
- Collection of used spectacles for distribution, free of charge, in developing countrie
- Provision of childrens books under the 123Read2Me program.
