The Lions Club of Banavasi, chartered in 2024, is a vibrant service organization rooted in the historic and cultural town of Banavasi. As part of Lions Clubs International, we proudly carry forward the global mission of “We Serve” by addressing local needs with compassion, dedication, and teamwork.

We believe that service is not just an activity, but a way of life. Every initiative we undertake reflects our commitment to building a stronger, happier, and more sustainable community.  Since its inception, the Lions Club of Banavasi has been actively involved in service projects that touch lives across multiple dimensions—hunger relief, environmental sustainability, farmer welfare, administrative strengthening, and happiness programs that promote well-being and unity.

Our flagship initiative, Annadana Seva (Free Food Offering Service), is recognized as the Signature Activity of the Lions Club of Banavasi.  Conducted during Lions International Hunger Relief Week, this program provides meals to the needy, ensuring dignity and compassion for all. It reflects our unwavering commitment to fighting hunger and serving humanity.
