FROM THE DESK OF YOUR PRESIDENT

The definition of the word NEW:

Adjective, not existing before; made, introduced,
or discovered recently or now for the first time.

It’s a NEW Year for the Lions. At the banner exchange we introduced our NEW District Governor Kelly Lubbe.

In June we installed our NEW Board. We have NEW positions on the Board, Marketing and Communications chairperson Darrick Dean. Service chairperson Hope Swank. Hope and Darrick are both NEW members to our club. Do you see a pattern here?

NEW, blending the NEW with the best of our TRADITIONS will strengthen our club’s foundation and service. It is how we move forward to a stronger tomorrow.

I’m encouraging everyone to think NEW this year NEW ideas, NEW technology. NEW members, NEW places, NEW partnerships, and NEW friends.

NEW Ideas: Many of us have had at least one NEW idea that we think would help the club. The smallest idea might make the biggest difference.
NEW Technology:  The world is changing fast, how do we keep up?
NEW members: How do we attract new and especially younger members?
NEW people: Partnering with others Service organizations
NEW places: Are you thinking about going to a Lions event? The year is filled with wonderful events to attend. This is a great way to learn NEW ideas from other Lions.
NEW friends: That’s what you’ll get when you have NEW ideas, use NEW Technology, recruit NEW members, meet NEW people, and visit NEW places.

Thank you all for choosing me as your NEW president. “Together We Can” make this an exciting, fun, NEW year
